As the academic year comes to a close, the Harvard Office for Sustainability (OFS) is proud to celebrate the remarkable achievements of our graduating student sustainability leaders. These dedicated students have been instrumental in advancing Harvard’s sustainability goals through their participation in programs including the Council of Student Sustainability Leaders (CSSL), the Student Sustainability Associates (SSAs) at Harvard Business School, the HKS Sustainability Leadership Council, and the Resource Efficiency Program (REP) at the Faculty of Arts and Sciences, and other student programming at Harvard.

Their achievements include capstones about reducing AI emissions, projects on sustainable design and circular material systems, pilots to cut down plastic waste, and creative campaigns to reduce energy use. These students have applied themselves to push the boundaries of innovation and impact on Harvard’s campus, and their work is a testament to the power of collaboration and student leadership in building a more sustainable future.
