Learn more about Angelina’s experience at Harvard.
How are you involved in working with the Office for Sustainability?
“My involvement with the Harvard Office for Sustainability has mainly been through the Council for Student Sustainability Leaders, which I have participated in since the fall of 2024.”
What is your best memory working in sustainability at Harvard?
“It is easy to say that social gatherings were my favorite aspects of sustainability work at Harvard. They were great ways to meet like-minded people outside of class!”
What other sustainability-related experiences did you have on campus or beyond during your time at Harvard?
“Because my research is very involved in sustainability, I have also taken several courses on these topics throughout my time at Harvard.”
What were the most inspiring sustainability topics you learned about at Harvard?
“Though one might think it’d be self-explanatory to someone in sustainability, learning how to recycle properly was actually one of the most empowering and fruitful sustainability tips I learned at Harvard. It is so easy to get confused and twisted with all of the rules about how to sort your recycling!”
What are your plans moving forward?
“After Harvard, I am starting my own non-profit on climate resilience! Our mission is to create international consensus around the climate emergency, as well a shared plan for saving the planet’s most exceptional wild places. Check out here: www.resilienseed.com.”
What advice would you give to incoming students related to sustainability and climate (e.g., classes to take, groups to join, etc.)?
“Join the Council of Student Sustainability Leaders the first year you arrive! It will be worthwhile!”
