What is your best memory of working with the Office for Sustainability?

Working with the Council of Student Sustainability Leaders has been a truly enjoyable experience. I’ve had the opportunity to meet individuals from across Harvard who are dedicated to advancing innovative ideas for a sustainable future. Whether it’s attending presentations or interacting with others in smaller groups, I’ve appreciated being surrounded by like-minded individuals who share a common passion for making a positive impact.

What are your plans for next year or the future more generally?

My goal for the future is to create affordable, accessible, and sustainable housing solutions on a global scale.

What advice would you give to incoming students related to sustainability and climate (e.g., classes to take, groups to join, etc.)?

If you’re interested in a particular cause or goal, consider joining a group or community of like-minded individuals who share your interests, or even ideas you want to learn more about. You can also broaden your network by taking the time to interact with people from other schools or backgrounds. Volunteering for passion projects and focusing on long-term solutions can also be a great way to get involved and make a meaningful impact.
