Thor Reimann

Council of Student Sustainability Leaders

Member

Thor Reimann is a junior at Harvard College. Originally from Minnesota, they are pursuing a joint concentration in Environmental Science and Public Policy + Comparative Religion, with a secondary in statistics. Through these disciplines, he is interested in understanding the various ways that we construe meaning and make decisions in a world increasingly changed by the human hand.

Thor is extremely passionate about access to the outdoors, and just finished his term on the Steering Committee for the First-Year Outdoor Program, which sent out 315 Harvard First-years and 100 student leaders on backpacking trips this past fall. They also are passionate about environmental research, and this past summer worked with the United States Forest Service to improve their statistical estimation of key forest characteristics over smaller land areas.

When not thinking about our shared home, Thor is an avid hiker, shower-singer, and reader. You can probably find him at any of the coffee shops around campus, being a proud resident of Mather House, or going for a sunset walk along the Charles!
