I received my bachelor’s degree in finance with a minor in Spanish from Howard University and began my career at Goldman Sachs on the Healthcare investment banking team shortly after graduation. Most recently, I worked as an associate at Blackstone for the investor relations and fundraising team, including an internal project focused on energy transition.
This past summer, I interned at Collab Capital, an early-stage venture capital firm, and was excited to spend some time supporting research on high growth sustainability businesses. At HBS, I aim to continue merging my interest in generating financial returns with my commitment to improving society through thoughtful investment strategies.
My vision for a sustainable future: I envision a world where individuals are curious about their environmental impact and conscious of the negative and positive ripple effects that our individual actions can have on others. My wish is that while we take personal responsibility for our footprint, we also use our voices and actions to have an outsized impact on making strides towards equity.
Favorite Green Tip: Mindful consumption. It’s easy to give in to fast fashion, particularly in response to singular events (hello wedding szn!). This approach is unsustainable both in terms of production and our consumption. As a tip, purchase multi-use items, shop secondhand, or rent whenever possible—consider use in terms of years versus events.
