Background

I grew up with dual passions for food and exploration, which led me to a career at Yum! Brands. I was lucky enough to work in Finance, Business Development, and Tech across dozens of countries. (Highlights: opening Israel’s first KFC in Nazareth, skiing in Kosovo, visiting every city in Estonia). I want to dedicate my career to helping the restaurant industry reduce its environmental impact and provide meaningful careers instead of low-paying jobs.

My vision for a sustainable future

About a third of global emissions stem from the food system, and about a third of the food that we produce is wasted – so ten percent of global emissions come from food waste. I envision a future where individuals and brands have the tools and the power to operate zero-waste.

Favorite Green Tip

The first step is to be conscious of the waste you’re creating: make a note of how often you take out your recycling and trash, then think about steps you could take to cut down.
