Mukta Dharmapurikar

Mukta is a freshman from Durham, North Carolina, who is interested in the environmental and life sciences. Her passion for climate change stems from her background of spending summers on her family’s farm in India as well as seeing the impacts of extreme weather on the NC coast. She has really enjoyed engaging with climate change through various forms including community work, journalism, and research! Outside of REP, she loves to write, play tennis, and hike.
