Maya Elia

Maya Elia is pursuing her Master’s Degree of Sustainability through the Harvard Extension School. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Wake Forest University, where she studied Business and Enterprise Management with a concentration in Sustainable Consulting. She currently works in the ESG Advisory practice at KPMG, helping clients with their ESG strategies and supporting the development of the firm’s ESG go-to-market offerings. 

Maya’s passion for the natural environment has led her to a career and higher degree in the field. She is particularly interested in decarbonization, biodiversity, and sustainable food systems. Through her academic and professional work, she strives to encourage youth involvement in sustainability. She looks forward to collaborating with peers through CSSL and making a positive difference in the community!
