Mary Karamitsani

Mary is a Visiting Undergraduate Student at Harvard College, having completed her first two years of university at the LSE studying Economics. After taking courses that established her foundations in the science, technology, and policy of climate change, she is now interested in designing efficient policy solutions and promoting innovativeclean tech initiatives. Her research on the effectiveness of the European Emissions Trading System and the E-Waste issue in Africa has further fueled her passion for sustainability. Additionally, Mary is an active volunteer, having initiated and participated in various activities in Greece and the UK. She is excited to engage with the CSSL team to promote sustainable initiatives at Harvard and beyond!
