Luke Tan (he/him) is a first-year student at Harvard College intending to study Environmental Science & Engineering with interests in coastal ecology, environmental education and humanities, and landscape architecture. Having grown up going hiking and camping with his local Boy Scout troop, Luke has grown to love the beauty of the environment and has found joy in expressing this through writing and photography. He has also volunteered/worked with groups including the New Jersey Sea Grant Consortium, Musconetcong Watershed Association, NOAA (James J. Howard Marine Sciences Laboratory at Sandy Hook), and Conserve Wildlife New Jersey. At Harvard, he hopes to help our community live more responsibly, consciously, and sustainably.
