Lauren Bloomberg

Lauren joined the Office for Sustainability in 2015 and has since held multiple roles in the department. In her current capacity as a Sustainability Manager, she works on strategic University-wide sustainability initiatives, including the Harvard Presidential Committee on Sustainability, Scope 3 GHG emissions, sustainable food, and IT-related emissions. Prior to the Office for Sustainability, Lauren worked at the Harvard Kennedy School Sustainability Science Program and Geopolitics of Energy Project. Lauren holds a master’s of science from the Tufts Friedman School of Nutrition Science and Policy, where she blended interdisciplinary coursework and skillsets in food systems, economics and policy analysis, public health, and behavior change.
