Kris Locke

Director

Kris joined the Office for Sustainability in February 2014. Employed at Harvard since 1996, Kris has worked in numerous management roles at Radcliffe, the Bridge Program, and as Associate Director of CommuterChoice, TDM and Sustainability at Transportation Services. In that role, she lead the strategy and implementation of Harvard’s overall sustainable transit program including Blue Bikes and Zipcar as well as oversaw the MBTA corporate pass program for faculty and staff. At OFS, she works as part of the senior team with a majority of her time serving as the COO and overseeing the sustainability team working with the various schools and units.

Kris completed a master’s program in Administration and Management and earned two master’s degrees, in Government and in Sustainability and Environmental Management, from Harvard’s Extension School.

Outside the walls of Harvard, she spends much of her time volunteering in her community, serving on the Mayor’s Bicycle Commission in the City of Quincy and on the board of her neighborhood association.
