Jolee Kuo
Council of Student Sustainability Leaders
College
Jolee Kuo (she/her) is a sophomore at Harvard College studying Environmental Science and Engineering on the S.B. track. She is originally from the Los Angeles area, and her love for the region’s biodiversity motivates her passion for environmental sustainability. Outside of creating technical solutions to environmental issues, Jolee is especially interested in the ways that community engagement and institution-wide changes can contribute to a more sustainable future.
At Harvard, Jolee co-founded the Harvard Undergraduate Birding Club, where she organizes accessible bird walks to connect students with local wildlife and conservation. She is also a leader for the Harvard Outing Club and the Harvard First-Year Program, where she helps students develop an affinity for the outdoors through positive experiences. This year, she can’t wait to spearhead sustainability initiatives as part of CSSL!
