Jess is a fourth-year PhD student in Environmental Science and Engineering, studying climate evolution within the Department of Earth and Planetary Sciences. Her research focuses on modeling how planetary conditions change over time and the mechanisms that drive planetary habitability. Passionate about science communication, Jess is committed to bridging the gap between scientists and the public on climate change. She also serves as the Coordinator for First-Year Climate and Sustainability at Harvard College, where she develops programming to engage first-year students in climate, sustainability, and environmental education. Additionally, Jess is a First-Year Proctor at the college and has a passion for working with students. She is excited to be part of the Council of Sustainability Leaders community and contribute to positive change at Harvard!
