Jenny Zhang

Jenny Zhang is a first-year MDes Ecologies student at the Harvard Graduate School of Design. She studied English nonfiction writing at Brown University, where she worked with local government and community partners in Warren, Rhode Island on climate resilience, housing, and stormwater challenges. Her work explores how writing, literary art, and design can make environmental issues feel more tangible, personal, and open to conversation. She has also supported sustainability and ESG projects through consulting and research. Originally from Beijing, Jenny enjoys dancing, improving her tennis skills, writing, and reading. She is excited to join CSSL and contribute to Harvard’s sustainability community.
