Gowri Rangu is a junior in Adams House concentrating in Government with a secondary in Women, Gender, and Sexuality at Harvard College. Outside of CSSL, she serves as the Co-President of the Harvard Undergraduate South Asian Women’s Collective and as a Recovery Fellow for the Food Literacy Project, in which she leads plate-up sessions at Annenberg Hall to repurpose leftover food for individuals and families in need. She is also spearheading an effort to combat food insecurity at Harvard by establishing a university-wide food pantry for all Harvard affiliates. Gowri enjoys learning Spanish and Hindi in her free time, observing the squirrels in the Yard, spending time with friends and family, and being in nature! She is excited to explore and pursue the intersection of food justice and sustainability with the CSSL this year!
