Elisia (she/her) is a joint degree student at the Harvard Business and Kennedy Schools interested in all forms of climate adaptation, current and future. Before coming to Harvard, she worked in the public and social sector practice at McKinsey and Company, and for Local Initiative Support Corporation (LISC), a national CDFI that provides funding for under-resourced American communities. Originally from Michigan, she grew up visiting the dunes and being taught about the wonders of the Great Lakes ecosystem.
My vision for a sustainable future:
I hope for a future economy where strong, sensible regulations enable businesses to use natural resources fully circularly, where none of our energy needs are met by drilling oil and gas.
Favorite green tip: Whether you live on or off campus, composting in Cambridge and Allston has it made easy to dispose of food waste! On campus, keep an eye out for bins with green compost signs. Off campus, use boston.gov or cambridgema.gov to find out how to compost at home!
