Budget and Financial Manager

Ann Marie (she/her/hers) joined the Office for Sustainability in January of 2022 as its Budget and Financial Manager. In this role, she manages the OFS budget, accounting, and forecasting and planning for the Sustainability Core team and the Client Sustainability Services Team. She also manages the financial aspects and forecasting of Harvard’s $12 Million Green Revolving Fund, working with the Campus Services finance group.   

Prior to joining the Office for Sustainability, Ann Marie worked for more than 25 years as the CFO/COO in small businesses, assisting business owners with growth and exit strategies. In a career shift, in 2017, she began work with Harvard as the Financial Administrator at the Phillips Brooks House, the Center for Public Service and Engaged Scholarship for Harvard College. She provided administrative and financial management to multiple offices, including Phillips Brooks House Association (PBHA), Center for Public Interest Careers (CPIC), Public Service Network (PSN) and Mindich Program in Engaged Scholarship (MPES). In this role, Ann Marie worked with Harvard College faculty, staff and students supporting the College’s commitment of providing students an opportunity to engage in public service activities as part of their undergraduate experience.

Outside of Harvard, Ann Marie lives in Cambridge with her family in a purple house, equipped with solar panels that help charge her electric car. She loves to escape to the mountains where she enjoys backpacking and camping whenever she can. She is an active member of the Appalachian Mountain Club and enjoys introducing anyone interested to the beauty and joy of the outdoors. Ann Marie is also very active in her synagogue and has served as Chair of the Finance Committee, Co-Chair of the Youth Committee, the EVP of Operations, and currently as the organization’s Treasurer.
