Harvard Graduate School of Education
Harvard Graduate School of Education aims to create a healthy, thriving, sustainable community that contributes positive social, economic, and environmental benefits. HGSE’s vision is rooted in a shared responsibility to build and operate a campus that contributes to the well-being of every member of our community—and ultimately to the health of the planet.
By making our campus healthier and more sustainable, we prepare our students and our broader community to build a healthier, more sustainable future. This is particularly important at HGSE, where future leaders in education come to learn.
HGSE Student Sustainability Educator
The Harvard Graduate School of Education Sustainability Educator works alongside the HGSE Sustainability Manager to develop individual projects that will push the School to become even more sustainable. Projects that address the intersectionality and emerging issues of sustainability are especially encouraged.
