The REP Heating 201 Campaign runs from: Jan 29 – Feb 6, 2023.
Now that the New England winter is fully here, refresh your House or Dorm heat management knowledge. The Resource Efficiency Program (REP) is doing a deep dive to gather campus residential heating data, and measure the collective impact.
Conserving just 2% of the housing steam use during heating season (assuming 80% system efficiency), could save 32,000 therms of natural gas.
That’s equal to the carbon sequestered by 2,800 tree seedlings grown for 10 years!
Undergrads: Drop by your House/Dorm REP’s tabling event or submit your thoughts via this very brief Google form – there are no wrong answers!
Share your insights on effective dorm room heating practices by telling us: What was the most significant/helpful heating tip you remember from our Heating 101 campaign last fall?
Let’s reimplement our heat-wise habits to stay cozy, efficiently!
After a long and restful winter break, do last year’s Heating 101 tips feel like a mirage? Refresh your memory and see them here!
