Rongying is a Master of Design Studies candidate at Harvard GSD with an interdisciplinary background in social business, entrepreneurship, impact investing, and regenerative design. His work focuses on regenerative ecological solutions and community development. Before Harvard, he founded and led a social enterprise in Shenzhen, China, to cultivate the next generation of entrepreneurs. He also contributed to the Bedari Collective’s research on future agriculture and energy transition guidelines. His long-term goal is to help build an inclusive, equitable, decentralized, and net-positive 21st-century utopia through urban planning, education, and technological innovation. In his free time, he enjoys outdoor activities, video games, and spending time with friends.
