Sofia is a food engineer and master’s degree candidate in Management with a concentration in Corporate Sustainability & Innovation and Circular Economics at Harvard Extension School. A curious lifelong learner, she is passionate about the intersection of food and sustainability, and strives to drive change that benefits people, the planet, and animals.
Sofia has served as Director of Community Sustainability Initiatives for the Harvard Extension School Sustainability Student Club (HES3C), where she collaborated with campus and community stakeholders to organize events and spotlight solutions that elevate food’s critical role for collective well-being.
Currently, Sofia works in the industrial construction sector, learning and helping shape a sustainability strategy that advances solutions for a greener future. Alongside this work, she is actively exploring opportunities to re-engage with the food space to further her passion.
Her goal is to develop integrated business solutions and systems that enable people, the planet, and animals to thrive together.
