Sarah Wang is a second-year master’s student pursuing a degree in Social and Behavioral Sciences at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. Before attending Harvard, Sarah gained valuable experience working in the All of Us Research Program. She is interested in AI and food systems transformation, with experience researching the framing of low-carbon foods in Taiwan and collaborating with Dr. Christy Denckla on digital health technology addressing the social determinants of mental health related to climate change.

She coordinated the “Stop the Antibiotic Overuse” campaign, helping U.S. PIRG and CalPIRG secure an international commitment from Wendy’s (a top U.S. beef purchaser) to stop the overuse of antibiotics on cows for its over 6,500 outlets by 2030.

Sarah is passionate about leveraging her academic background and experiences to create a positive impact. She is excited about her journey at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health and looks forward to contributing to the field of public health through her work with CSSL this year.
