Sarah Lober

Sarah Lober is a dual degree student at Harvard Kennedy School (MPA 2026) and MIT Sloan School of Management (MBA 2025). She is passionate about climate, the environment and supporting cross-sector sustainability initiatives by advancing creative finance and policy solutions that mobilize both public and private resources to tackle climate challenges. She has worked in clean energy corporate sustainability at Iberdrola in Madrid, Spain and in the sustainable apparel industry with a textile manufacturing start-up.
She brings five years of work experience at the nexus of digital financial services and international development with the United Nations Capital Development Fund (UNCDF) in New York and Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. At UNCDF, she led research projects and program management initiatives focused on provisioning financial and technical assistance to portfolio companies, which included established banks and early-stage fintech start-ups operating in more than 40 countries. She holds a BA in Economics and Computer Science from Georgetown University and in her free time is an avid rock climber, hiker, and baker.
