Samantha Sharma is a Program Manager in the Office for Sustainability at Harvard focusing primarily on Scope 1 decarbonization. She joined the team in 2023. With a background in mechanical engineering, Samantha’s interests have grown from building design and energy analysis to campus master planning, decarbonization and climate action strategy.
Prior to working at Harvard, Samantha worked for 7 years as an energy consultant at Arup, advising higher education and commercial clients on developing and implementing climate programs. In her time with Arup, Samantha also helped to drive the firm’s decarbonization services in the Americas. Samantha earned a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Boston University, an M.S. in Sustainable Engineering Systems from Villanova University and is an AEE Certified Energy Manager.
