Salsa is a Master in Public Policy candidate at the Harvard Kennedy School, with a focus on sustainable fashion and the circular economy. She is particularly interested in how international organizations and governments can regulate fast fashion to make the industry more equitable, low-carbon, while remaining affordable.
Prior to Harvard, she worked in policy communications at the International Monetary Fund, where she led the Fund’s digital strategy across multimedia platforms, organized the annual IMF Youth Fellowship, and supported IMF engagements at COP29.
She holds a B.A. in Anthropology and Global Studies from the University of California, Los Angeles. Outside the classroom, Salsa enjoys dancing—especially salsa.
