Ming Hong Choi

Ming Hong Choi is a Fulbright Scholar and Master of Real Estate candidate at the Harvard University Graduate School of Design. Prior to Harvard, Ming completed his Master of Finance degree at the Cambridge Judge Business School, University of Cambridge, where he was a Cambridge Trust and Chevening Scholar. He also served as an Editor for the Cambridge Zero Policy Forum and a Green Impact Auditor for Trinity Hall, University of Cambridge.

Originally from Singapore, Ming previously worked at BlackRock, integrating Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) risk metrics into the investment process for a private credit fund in the Asia-Pacific region. Outside of  work, he co-founded Deria, an environmental education non-profit initiative funded by the British High Commission in Malaysia (in partnership with UN COP26 and the UK Science and Innovation Network) and recognized by UNESCO under its Green Citizens initiative. Additionally, he is a World Cities Summit Young Leader and a Climate Reality Leader with former U.S. Vice President Al Gore’s Climate Reality Project.

As a Council Member of CSSL, he is committed to co-creating meaningful sustainability-related impact across Harvard University.
