Alida Monaco

Alida is a first-year MPP candidate at the Harvard Kennedy School pursuing a concurrent MBA degree with MIT Sloan. She has a B.A. in Environmental Science and Public Policy from Harvard College.

Prior to HKS, Alida was a Climate Data Advisor with Watershed, a climate software company, where she advised >$1B revenue companies like Paramount, Wayfair, and Sweetgreen on their sustainability planning.

Alida also previously worked with local governments on their decarbonization and climate resiliency planning, as a Sustainability Analyst with ICF International. She additionally worked with federal agencies (EPA, DOA) on climate regulation development. In her free time, she loves to ballroom dance and read!”
