Sol Giesso

Sol Giesso is an Ed.M. student in the Teaching and Teacher Leadership track at the Harvard Graduate School of Education, with a concentration in Global, International, and Comparative Education. She is an environmental educator and climate adaptation researcher, with a B.A. In Environmental and Sustainability Studies and an M.S. in Community Climate Adaptation from Worcester Polytechnic Institute. Before coming to Harvard, she worked running environmental education field trips at the Smithsonian Environmental Research Center. She’s also a Projects for Peace grant awardee, having developed and taught a summer program for immigrant high schoolers hoping to pursue careers in the environmental field. After Harvard, she wants to work in a high school teaching Environmental Science and shaping the next generation of climate activists. Sol is originally from Buenos Aires, Argentina, but also calls Miami, FL home. In her free time, she loves figure drawing, scuba diving, and cooking fancy meals.
