DESCRIPTION:On April 11\, 2024\, the Harvard Environmental Law Society will honor Deputy Special Envoy for Climate\, Sue Biniaz\, with the 2024 Horizon Award in recognition of her lifetime contributions to the fields of conservation\, climate\, and environmental law and policy. Past recipients have included Justice John Paul Stevens\, Lisa Jackson\, Frances Beinecke\, Gina McCarthy\, Maura Healey\, Catherine Coleman Flowers\, and Dr. Robert Bullard. For over 25 years\, Deputy Envoy Biniaz has served as our nation’s top climate lawyer\, where she has been instrumental in brokering the Kyoto Protocol and the Paris Climate Accord\, among many others. Please help us celebrate the career of a woman who has meaningfully reduced the threat of climate change through numerous international negotiations.
